Memorial Service
The family of Victoria (Vikki) Denise Cobb of Excelsior Springs, Missouri is saddened to announce her passing on March 8, 2026, at the age of 74.
Vikki will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robb (Melissa) Hartwick; daughter-in-law, Kerri Doughty; grandchildren: Haley (Sean) Fulton, Tanner Hartwick, Dakota (Kyli) Hartwick, Madisyn (Jadon) Palmer, Jackson Hartwick; great-grandchildren Adeline Hartwick; sister, Cheryl Miller; nieces: Rachel (Eddie) Freeman, Cassandra (Bo) Freeman; nephews: Philip Allred, Ken (Jill) Miller, Jr., Quentin Miller, Richard (Jo Ann) Freeman; great-nieces and nephews, cousins.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steven Cobb; son, Michael Hartwick,Jr; parents, John and Tallie Allred; sister, Nancie Freeman; brother, John Lorenzo Allred; brother-in-laws, Charles Freeman and Ken Miller; nephew, John Miller.
Vikki was born on December 27, 1951, in Cheraw, South Carolina, where she spent her childhood before moving to Missouri in 1968 to help her sister, Cheryl. What began as a short visit soon became a lifelong home, and she spent most of her years in the Kansas City metro area. Over the years she worked at Job Corps, SA Maxwell, and Extra. Vikki had two sons with her first husband, Michael Hartwick, Sr., and being their mother was one of the greatest joys of her life. She took great pride in watching her family grow and loved her grandchildren dearly.
On September 1, 1978, she married Steven Cobb, beginning a partnership that lasted nearly 42 years. Vikki loved science fiction books and movies, but her greatest happiness was found in spending time with family and caring for the beloved fur babies who held a special place in her heart.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 10th, at the Orrick Baptist Church, 301 Adams Street, Orrick, MO 64077. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Orrick Baptist Church.
