Terry Micheal Roberts, Sr., of Richmond, Mo., formerly of Orrick, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at his home. He was known by family and friends as Mike. He was born in Kansas City, Mo., on February 15, 1954 to William Cecil and Mary Ann (Frieben) Roberts. He had lived most of his life in the Ray County area. He was schooled at the Orrick Schools and was employed as a truck driver for U.S. Express for several years before he retired in 2011.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanett Roberts on April 29, 2013; brothers, Roger Dale Roberts, James Roberts, Donald Roberts and Henry Roberts; sisters, Laura Louise Roberts and Mary Kathryn Roberts; and a great granddaughter, Clarra Nicole Roberts.

Survivors include his children, Terry Micheal Roberts, Jr. and wife, Toni of Altamont, Mo., Bobby Roberts of Polo, Mo., and Melinda Holmes and husband, Tony of Richmond, Mo.; his mother-in-law, Georgie L. Beaird of Richmond, Mo.; siblings, Dennis Roberts of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Ronald Roberts, William Cecil Roberts, Jr., Ann Roberts of Rayville, Mo., and Carol Roberts of Gravois Mills, Mo.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon, June 3, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by funeral services at 2:30 p.m., all at the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick. Burial will follow in South Point Cemetery near Orrick. Memorials suggested to the family to help with expenses.
