Michael R. Warner, 74, of Richmond, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord on the morning of Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Shirkey Hospice & Palliative Care in Richmond, Missouri. He was born on June 24, 1951, at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bernard L. Warner and Vera Lee (Hannah) Greer.

Michael never met a stranger, and everyone who knew him loved him. He had an easygoing, open way about him that drew people in. Over the years he made his living through honest work, including time on the assembly line and in the back of the house at local restaurants. He had a lifelong love of old cars and trucks, and he took great joy in playing the guitar and the harmonica. He cherished his many nieces and nephews, who loved him dearly and treasured every moment spent with him. He and the family dog, Lucy, were faithful companions to the end. A devoted Christian of the Assembly of God faith, Michael had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Michael is survived by one brother, Harril Luman (Eva) of Richmond, Missouri; and one sister, Sharon Lee of Marionville, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Douglas Luman of Stockton, Missouri.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Southpoint Cemetery near Orrick, Missouri, with Pastor Art Endsley officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick, Missouri.
