Darrell Allen Lee, 68 of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away at his home February 5, 2021. Darrell was born on November 22, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo., to John Allen Lee and Mary Jo (Long) Lee. He was united in marriage to Cindy Renfrow on March 31, 1980.

Darrell was a 1970 graduate of Orrick High School. He was a member of the Heavy Construction Laborer's Union #663, retiring from Musselman & Hall Contractors.  Darrell's favorite past times were composing songs, playing the guitar, and singing with his dad.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, John Allen Lee.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Jo Lee; one brother, David Joe (Sheila) Lee; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and even three great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions to Darrell's memory can be made to South Point Cemetery, 35054 Highway Z, Orrick, Missouri 64077.   Graveside services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
