Chad Matthew Thomas, 55, of Richmond, Missouri (formerly of Orrick, Missouri) passed away February 15, 2026.

Chad graduated from Decatur High School, Decatur, Texas. He had worked as a truck driver over the road and rock hauling. Chad had a sense of humor, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved collecting knives.

Chad had a good heart, and was always there for his family. He was a loving and respectful son.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Thomas; his mother, Terry Snitker Celestin (Jorge); aunt, Sherry Gilbert (Ron); aunt, Kathleen Torres; uncle, Rodney Snitker (Debbie); cousins, Shannon Thomas, Julie McGill, Marty, Jason and Daemion Snitker, Stephanie Harvey; and friends.

He was preceded in death by cousins, Aron Thomas and Adam Watkins.

Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Enon Cemetery, outside of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, where he will be laid to rest next to his grandparents, Clarance and Margaret (Perry) Snitker.
