Billy Scott Cazzell, 78, of Richmond, MO, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025 at Liberty Hospital.

Scotty was born on December 25, 1946 in Excelsior Springs, MO, to Billy Eugene and Eunice Mae Cazzell. Scotty spent most of his life in Orrick and was a member of the  Fleming Baptist Church. On June 20, 1964, Scotty was united in marriage to Cynthia Ann Belt of Orrick, MO. Scotty retired from Yellow Freight as a diesel mechanic. Everyone who worked with him could attest his initials of B.S. were a reason. He loved all sports, including playing pool weekly. He loved his family, and his grandkids were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Ann Cazzell; his father, Billy Eugene Cazzell; and his mother, Eunice Mae Cazzell.

Scotty is survived by his two daughters, Carla Cazzell (Joe) and Crissy McAfee (Jeff), all of Orrick, MO; adoptive family, Terry (Ruth) Williams of Orrick; one sister, Pat Wysong (Rob) of Excelsior Springs, MO; his grandchildren that he loved so much, Cody Pigg, Brock McAfee, Blake (Brooke) McAfee, Keeley McAfee, Casey Williams and Miranda (Kris) Williams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life per his request for his extended family and friends will be held at a later date.
